Gilipollas.05 Las tomas
Create ONE continuous 30-second photorealistic shot, 16:9, for a deadpan science-fiction comedy. Use the original attached Spanish VO 02 as OFF-SCREEN narration at unchanged speed. Rodolfo never speaks or lip-syncs. No extra dialogue, music, captions or titles.
CAMERA: Fixed tripod in an upper-floor window, several storeys ABOVE the plaza throughout. Height and position never change. Match the widest plaza reference's downward perspective throughout. Widen only by changing focal length. No drone flight, crane, dolly, ascent, descent, orbit or eye-level stage. Tops of heads and paving remain visible from above; no sky or horizon. A small tripod tilt can reframe face and hand, always looking down.
MAIN CHANGE — A GRADUAL ACCELERATING ZOOM OUT: From 8 to 20 seconds use one seamless optical zoom with a continuous speed ramp. Begin almost imperceptibly, then gain speed smoothly as the view widens. Show every intermediate framing, with no sudden jump to wide or fast start. The largest widening happens LATE, around 16–19 seconds. Reach the widest view only at 20 seconds, with a brief smooth settling into the hold. The crowd and passage of daylight accelerate progressively WITH this zoom, not suddenly at a timestamp. Narration stays at normal speed and Rodolfo stays still.
ACTING: Head, chin, eyebrows, cheeks, lips and jaw stay still; mouth gently CLOSED. Anxiety is expressed ONLY through small eye movements and visible sweat in the final close-up. No raised eyebrows, head lift, widened eyes, gasp, panting or grimace. No physical reaction to the zoom or narration.
REFERENCES: Sideways-looking close-up supplies face identity and opening eye direction. Character sheet supplies the orange/ivory retro-futurist clothing and small ivory analogue remote. Full-body image supplies ordinary human scale. Widest plaza image supplies the HIGH camera perspective and geography: Casa de Correos right, fountain and statue left. No cutting between references or copying sheet layouts.
BLOCKING: Rodolfo stands rooted to the same paving stone. Remote in LEFT hand beside thigh, right hand empty; no button press. Pedestrians cross in front, beside and behind him; no empty circle. He avoids eye contact with the lens until the final close-up.
TIMELINE, ALL ONE UNBROKEN SHOT:
0.00–4.20: daylight face close-up from above with a long lens. Eyes already directed sideways from the FIRST FRAME; small nervous shifts toward people at street level. Head and mouth fixed, no gaze at us.
4.20–6.50: small downward tripod tilt along the torso to the left hand. Remain in the high window, looking down on sleeve, hand and remote.
6.50–8.00: brief still remote detail from above.
8.00–10.00: start the optical zoom out EXTREMELY SLOWLY, easing away from the hand to reveal a little more sleeve and torso. Pedestrians move normally. No sudden scale change.
10.00–14.00: smoothly increase zoom speed, revealing torso, full body and nearby ground in a continuous progression. Strong downward view throughout. Pedestrians gradually accelerate from normal walking to about 3x speed. Daylight begins changing slowly.
14.00–19.00: continue increasing zoom speed with no jerk or jump, progressively revealing more plaza. Crowd speed and the passage of light ramp continuously from about 3x to 15x. At 16 seconds the shot is still widening; do not arrive at the extreme wide early. Late afternoon accelerates through twilight. Motion-blur trails build naturally; Rodolfo remains crisp, stationary and normally proportioned. Warm AMBER-ORANGE street lamps progressively switch on and windows illuminate.
19.00–20.00: reach the broadest high plaza composition after the fastest part of the zoom, settling smoothly into a static hold. Full timelapse now, full NIGHT reached by 20.00. No fade, cut, spatial morph or change of camera height.
20.00–25.00: hold this very wide night view. Let pedestrian speed ease back to natural brisk walking. Rodolfo stays still and small. Warm lamps and cool dark ambient night remain through the end.
25.00–25.40: ONE abrupt optical CRASH ZOOM IN to his face from the SAME elevated position. This final zoom IN is the only abrupt zoom in the film. Preserve night lighting and downward perspective; blurred paving behind the face.
25.40–26.40: face still, mouth closed, subtle sweat beads glistening in amber light. ONLY the eyes make a brief sideways search.
26.40–30.00: move ONLY the eyes into EXACT DIRECT EYE CONTACT WITH THE CAMERA LENS. Gaze targets the lens itself, engaging the viewer directly. Hold there; never look above or beyond the lens, or roll his eyes. Head, chin, brows and closed mouth stay fixed. Keep sweat and restrained stillness through the punchline and final silence.
Preserve identity, costume, scale and geography. Quiet start, gathering speed, racing time, night stillness, final direct look.
